TIE Nederland B.V. is an international B2B software company, established in 1987 and focused on Business Interoperability and Service Integration. TIE enables companies to do business electronically and to lower costs by synchronizing their product information and business processes with their partners in the Supply Chain. TIE plays a major role in global eBusiness standardization, including ebXML and EDI and has years of experience providing TIE customers with the benefit of solid, future-proof products. TIE is a Public Company, although still an SME, with thousands of customers across all major industry sectors and the majority of our customers are small-medium sized enterprises.
TIE is focused on the following domains: B2B Interoperability, Master Data Management (including collaborative planning), Digital Channel and Network outsourcing. Since its foundation in 1987 TIE has been active in B2B eCommerce, not only in application development but also in the standardization process and has held chairmanship positions within both the European Standards Institutions Workshops (CEN) and also the United Nations CEFACT organisations which is responsible for both EDI and ebXML. TIE serves the market for B2B eCommerce integration software with a clear focus on the inter-company processes (order, shipping, payment, etc.) based on globally accepted standards. This market continues to grow to now include business process management, master-data management and data transformation.
Commercially and Technically TIE is also active in the Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) field and is one of the 22 partners of the 350 member European Technology Platform for Software and Services – NESSI. There TIE, represented by Stuart Campbell, also leads its SME Working group.
