FATRONIK is a 125 persons technology centre, providing research and development services to industry. Since 1989, Fatronik is improving existing products and devising new solutions for its customers, most of them SMEs. Fatronik is tackling activities in the fields of conception, analysis, design of machines, research of mechanical components, techniques to improve machine behaviour, with a special dedication in the field of mechatronics & adaptronics developing new measurement, drive and control technologies. The company is divided into two divisions: Industrial Systems, oriented to give solutions for the means of design, manufacturing, maintenance and end of life of products and services, and Health, oriented to the development of new technologies in the socio-sanitary field at the service of individuals, particularly elderly and disabled people. Our main fields of work are Advanced automation and Manufacturing means, Robotics, Maintenance and end of life, and Health solutions. Strongly market oriented, Fatronik is the perfect partner between the fundamental research performed by Universities and Laboratories, and the day to day life in the company, helping you improving and innovating for the future. Fatronik is a member of Tecnalia, a private and independent, internationally known Technology Corporation created within the Basque technology environment. Tecnalia has an annual turnover of 115 M€, 1.250 people mainly researchers and an average of 25 patents per year. It’s the second Spanish organisation in returns from European 7th Framework Programme.
